Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for quite a while. Born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea began her stand-up show in the year 2011, following appearances as a guest on a variety of Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year the year 2009. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. Following her award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panels, and is becoming a mainstay. In 2016 and 2017, she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012 she was the second woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who was killed at the age of three when Bea turned three was the victim of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. The stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. She and her family loved racing, horses and the racing industry. In her youth Bea employed as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a job, and enjoyed performing.
